Library

The Centre’s library houses a modest but focused collection of texts, with well over 2,000 titles designed to provide a wide-ranging set of texts for undergraduate, graduate and professional readers. The collection contains not only recent scholarly works examining the history and consequences of the Holocaust, but an increasing collection of texts from the period and after, as well as some 60 unpublished manuscripts by survivors of the Holocaust.

It is a reading and reference library only, but visitors are normally welcome to use it from 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, every week of the year.

Please note:

The Holocaust Centre is undergoing some constructional changes at the moment and the library is closed until further notice.

Watch this space for further news of re-opening.

“Of the reference library, one can only congratulate you for bringing together under one roof such a marvellous collection of books covering such a very tragic time in this century for Jewish and many other peoples. Researchers from all over the world will be ever grateful for this collection.”
