Invite to the Training Seminar at the Holocaust Centre

You are cordially invited to attend a day seminar at the Holocaust Centre funded by the Community Cohesion Funds, Nottinghamshire County Council.  This seminar is jointly organised with Networking Action with Voluntary Organisations (NAVO), Mansfield.

Participants will be able to engage with issues of community cohesion, gain an understanding of the ultimate consequences of racism and discrimination, and see how fear of newcomers from other cultures is influencing the rise of the far right and impacting on survivors of genocide fleeing to Britain for refuge today - who now live within our local communities.

Newly arrived immigrants, asylum seekers, and those who have frontline contact with the new communities such as Local Councillors, child care givers, council workers and local businesses in Nottinghamshire.
