Planning Days For Educators

This year we are running three Planning Days for small groups of teachers.  These are aimed at teachers who are interested in exploring how their schools or colleges can maximise use of the Centre’s resources, programmes and visits. 

The first Planning Daywas initiated on 26th February 2007 by Harkireet Sohel, Lead Practitioner for History for theSpecialist Schools and Academies Trust and Deputy Head Teacher of Manning School for Girls, Nottingham.

Programme

The programme focus will be determined by the needs of the group, but participants all have the opportunity for dialogue with a survivor and with staff of the Holocaust Centre and Aegis Trust.

Dates

Tuesday 3rd July 2007: 10am - 4pm

Wednesday 4th July 2007: 10am – 4pm

Costs

For teachers: £75 plus VAT for the day.

Discussion groups comprise no more than 8 teachers.

These Planning Days will replace our Annual Educators’ Conference for 2007.
